Blosm was acquired by Wiser Solutions in March 2019. Continue working in a similar role: back-end development of the data processing and analytics services with the focus on performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Joined a newly established matching team, consolidating existing solutions and developing advanced matching approaches.
• Experimented with AI-driven matching techniques, replacing traditional scoring methods to improve accuracy and flexibility.
• Migrated to big data platforms (Apache Spark, Iceberg), enabling cross-organization data processing to leverage more data for better matching process.
• Designed and implemented a vector–based matching using LanceDB and custom-trained ML models, enhancing match precision across complex datasets.
• Leveraged large language models to compute data quality metrics like accuracy and completeness, accelerating verification workflows, and to verify product matches, significantly improving data quality.

Data science, statistics and analytics for the Blosm platform. Back-end development in Perl and NodeJS with PostgreSQL as the main data storage.

Responsibilities

• Designed and implemented a next-generation product matching system, improving match accuracy, flexibility, and configurability while significantly enhancing performance through reusable components and a more repeatable processing architecture.
• Worked on a couple of R&D initiatives like forecasting marketplace sales, or mapping and cleaning heterogeneous product specifications, enhancing accuracy of downstream analytics.

Embedded software development and creation of the internal tools for the team in London.

Responsibilities

• Developed testing tools for Smart TVs, supporting both pre-release QA and high-scale product support.
• Gained hands-on experience with corporate software infrastructure, internal tooling, and best practices in a large-scale closed enterprise environment.
